At Just the Job, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that are collected and recorded by Just the Job and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities. It is valid for visitors to our website regarding the information they share and/or collect in Just the Job. This policy does not apply to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. As a visitor to Just the Job, you do not have to submit any personal information to view the website. 

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.  

Just the Job does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

INFORMATION FOR JOB SEEKERS

For your added security, some sections of the website require you to sign up to use our services. These include creating and storing a CV, job alerts and applying for jobs. You can change these settings at any time by logging into your account. 

To create an account you can use a sign-on from your Facebook or Google. Alternatively, you will be asked for your email address and to create a password.

 Why do we collect this information? 

To enable you to keep up to date with the latest job vacancies and to apply for jobs on the Isle of Man. 

What Information do we collect about you? 

The personal information we collect about you may include the following: The information set out in your CV and information you provide when you sign up for a job alert. This includes general identification such as your name, address and email details and IP address. 

Creating a CV

Just the Job offers job seekers a free service to create and store CV.  To be able to create a CV you will provide information such as your contact details, your employment history, education, achievements and interests. 

This information cannot be searched by employers and will not be used for any other purpose other than to create and store CV for your personal use. 

You are responsible for ensuring the information that you supply is correct.

Job Alerts 

This service is provided free of charge to job seekers. You can opt-in or opt-out to use the free job alert service.

Job seekers are responsible for ensuring their job alert search is up to date.

Applying for Jobs 

Just the Job offers employers the opportunity to list a vacancy. We are not receiving a fee for this service or acting as a recruitment agency.

Prior to submitting your job application through our website, you are responsible for making sure all of the information you have provided is correct and that you are applying for the right job.

Once you provide information to an Employer (whether in the form of a job application, resume, email, interview material or otherwise), Just the Job Indeed does not have control over the Employer’s use or disclosure of that information

You will be asked to press a submit button, which is your consent to send your application.

Log files

Just the Job follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and are a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any personally identifiable information. The purpose of the data is to analyse trends, administer the site, track users' movement on the website, and gather demographic information.

Terms of Use

Just the Job reserves the right to suspend an account if a user is found to be using inappropriate language or not using the account for the purpose it was intended.

Retention of your data

You can close your account at any time. If you do not log into the site within 18 months your record will be deleted.

Safeguarding your data 

This data will be stored on the website. The only people who will be able to access the data are approved Junior Achievement personnel who have all completed a DBS check (criminal record check) and the website development company DotPerformance for security purposes. 

Just the Job operates within the EEA and does not transfer personal information internationally as this is not currently within the remit of our business.

Just the Job does not share any information collected other than as previously stated.

Accessing your data

You have a right to ask for a copy of the information which we hold about you. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it. 

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal information (or to exercise any of the other rights).  However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is clearly unfounded or excessive.  Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances.  Please contact justthejob@jaiom.im further information.

Know your rights

  • Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.
  • Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it.
  • You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal information where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).
  • Object to processing of your personal information.
  • Request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it.

Like any other website, Just the Job uses "cookies". These cookies are used to store information, including visitors' preferences and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The data is used to optimise the users' experience by customising our web page content based on visitors browser type and/or other information.

INFORMATION FOR EMPLOYERS

Employers can use Just the Job to list vacancies for free using our upload form. Details of your vacancy will be stored on our website and on our internal system. 

The types of information will we store include the job description, location and contact details.

Website

Once your vacancy has been approved you agree we can upload all of the information you have provided except the email address. Job seekers will contact you via an enquiry button on the website and the email address will not be displayed. 

This information you provide will be used to allow job seekers to consider your vacancy and to send a job application. 

Just the Job is not acting as a recruitment agency and does not have control over the type of job applications that you will receive.

Internal system

Your vacancy will be recorded on our internal system. 

What information we will be recording

The information we will record will be the name of the employer, contact details and the job title.

Why we record the information

 Why do we record the information?

 We will occasionally contact you to find out whether you have managed to fill your vacancy and if the job is to be removed from our website.

The purpose of this record is for the charity to be able to see how many vacancies we have received and how many jobs we have helped to fill. This helps the charity to obtain funding to keep offering this free service.
