🌟 Volunteer with Riding for the Disabled – Make a Difference Every Week! 🌟
Location: North of the Isle of Man
Are you kind, friendly, and looking to give a little of your time to make a big difference?
The Isle of Man branch of Riding for the Disabled is looking for volunteers to help at our regular weekly riding sessions held at a professional riding school in the north of the Island.
🐴 No experience needed – just a willingness to help and a positive attitude! Whether you’ve worked with horses or supported people with disabilities before, or you're completely new – we’d love to hear from you. Full guidance and support will be provided.
Volunteer sessions:
Tuesdays – anytime between 9:30am and 3:00pm
Fridays – 5:00pm to 7:00pm
You can volunteer for a full session or just part of it – whatever time you can offer is appreciated!
What you’ll be doing:
- Helping riders get ready for their sessions
- Walking alongside riders during lessons to support and encourage them
- Offering a smile, a helping hand, and friendly encouragement
It’s a rewarding role where you’ll get to see the confidence, joy, and friendships that grow through every ride.
🌼 We also welcome help with fundraising events, like coffee mornings, local fairs, and big public events such as the Island’s agricultural shows.
💼 Volunteering is a brilliant way to build your CV and grow your skills – especially for young people. You’ll gain valuable experience in:
- Teamwork
- Communication
- Responsibility and reliability
- Problem-solving
- Time management
All while supporting a great cause and meeting new people
Join our team and help change lives – one ride at a time.🐎
