Job Purpose: Support the busy Urgent Care team at Noble’s Hospital by helping patients, visitors and medical staff. You will provide reception and admin support in a fast-paced healthcare environment, helping patients access care and ensuring records and information are kept up to date. The role involves working shifts across a 24-hour service, including weekends and holidays.
Duties
- Welcome patients and visitors and provide a friendly, professional reception service.
- Answer phone calls, emails and face-to-face enquiries.
- Update patient records and appointment information using hospital systems.
- Support patient flow by helping medical teams with referrals, discharge paperwork and follow-up appointments.
- Monitor waiting areas and alert clinical staff if patients appear seriously unwell.
- Keep records, databases and filing systems accurate and organised.
- Carry out general admin duties such as scanning, photocopying and preparing documents.
- Maintain stock levels of stationery and clinical paperwork.
- Support communication between departments and healthcare teams.
- Help keep reception and waiting areas clean, tidy and welcoming.
- Support new staff, volunteers and work experience students within the department.
- Work as part of a team while also being confident working independently when needed.

- Experience using document scanning systems.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
