Port Erin Dental Surgery is seeking a friendly, motivated and reliable Trainee Dental Nurse to join our growing team.
No previous dental experience is required. We will provide comprehensive in-house training and support while you complete the 2-year Dental Nursing Diploma course through Isle of Man College, leading to a recognised qualification and professional registration as a Dental Nurse.
About the Role: As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our dentists, hygienists and experienced nursing team, learning all aspects of dental nursing while helping to deliver excellent patient care. Duties will include:
* Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures
* Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
* Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining instruments* Supporting and reassuring patients throughout their treatment
* Maintaining accurate patient records
* Following infection prevention and control procedures
* Managing stock and supplies
* Assisting with reception duties when required

* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable
