Staff Accommodation Housekeeper - MCX-025060
Job Purpose: Work as part of the Accommodation Housekeeping Team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment within hospital staff accommodation. You will help ensure accommodation is cleaned to a high standard, maintained appropriately and stocked with essential supplies.
Duties
- Clean all designated areas of the hospital staff accommodation to agreed standards.
- Carry out routine and spot cleaning as required.
- Clean internal glass and communal areas.
- Replenish soap, hand towels, toilet paper, hand gel and other consumables.
- Ensure accommodation is clean, tidy and well maintained.
- Help monitor and maintain stock levels, rotating and using supplies efficiently.
- Use, clean, store and maintain housekeeping equipment safely.
- Follow infection prevention, health and safety and COSHH procedures at all times.
- Report accidents, incidents, equipment faults and maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy and dignity of staff and patients.
- Participate in audits, team meetings and mandatory training.
- Work flexibly across other hospital wards or departments when required to provide cover.

- Full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Physically able to carry out manual duties, including using cleaning equipment, lifting, moving equipment and high-level dusting.
- Satisfactory Police Check.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working in a hospital or similar environment.
- Experience working in a housekeeping role.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
