About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our Nissan dealership team on the Isle of Man. As the vital link between our customers and our workshop, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service experiences while supporting our busy service department.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- greet customers and assess their vehicle service and repair needs
- book vehicle services and manage workshop diary appointments
- provide accurate cost estimates and timescales for repairs and services
- liaise with workshop technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently
- keep customers informed of progress and any additional work required
Your duties will include:
- processing service invoices and handling payments
- maintaining detailed service records and customer information
- promoting additional services, parts, and accessories where appropriate
- handle customer queries and resolve any concerns professionally while ensuring compliance with Nissan service standards and procedures
Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have
- previous experience in a service advisor or similar customer-facing role, with automotive industry experience preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- computer literacy with the ability to use dealership management systems
- a professional telephone manner
- ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities are essential
- a valid driving licence
- a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Desirable Qualifications: We would be particularly interested in candidates with knowledge of Nissan vehicles and service requirements, an NVQ or equivalent qualification in customer service or automotive retail. An IMI qualification or working towards industry certification would also be advantageous.
