A Food and Beverage Assistant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining clean dining or event areas.  

Key daily duties include:  
- preparing dining areas
- setting tables
- operating POS systems for transactions
- upselling products
- working collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service

Essential skills for the role include:
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- a polite and friendly demeanour
- the capacity to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments
- basic numeracy, and attention to detail
