Retail Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an within our onboard services Department for a Retail Executive.  

The role of the Retail Executive is to manage the customer retail experience across all our vessels and in the Ferry Travel shop based here in Douglas. The post holder will play a key role in the management and delivery of the company’s retail growth strategy over the coming years and work as a key member of the on-board services team  

Experience:  
- Previous management or leadership experience in a customer focused retail environment
- Computer literate with Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Winpos Megastore
- Knowledge of stock management, annual budgets, warehousing protocols and pricing controls
- Possess key negotiating skills with external IOM / UK and European suppliers and stakeholders
- Self-motivated with a drive and determination to achieve annual sales targets and KPI’s
- Full valid driving license 

Attributes required:
- Experience in a retail product development and key promotional activity to drive sales
- On line digital shopping solution with external suppliers via a web based platform
- Producing high street competitor product and pricing intelligence and analysis reports
- Previous knowledge of Warehouse goods delivery and distribution processes and procedures
- Responsibility for conducting monthly retail stock takes and reporting tools to document them
- Shop optimisation including branded displays, product placement and campaign materials
- Collaboration within multiple teams to deliver a retail experience enjoyed by all customers
