We are looking for Relief support worker's to join our growing residential care team here at Viva Heights.
We are an Adult Mental health & Complex needs service based in Douglas. The role of relief is to cover shifts as and when required. This can often be requested in advance to cover full time workers annual leave, or to cover other absence's such as sickness.
The purpose of the support worker role is to meet the needs of the individual service user while promoting and maintaining independence and ensuring all duties are carried out in a person centred way.
- To promote and support people to lead a comfortable and happy life.
- To contribute in providing excellent standards of care.
The post does require two satisfactory references and a fully enhanced DBS check, which is funded by Viva Heights.
Having experience within a similar role would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be given. A six month probation period and full induction ensures you are fully supported to learn and develop in the role.
