A wonderful opportunity has become available for a qualified Dental Nurse or experienced Trainee Dental Nurse to join the team at Grove Mount Dental Practice in Ramsey.
Grove Mount is a well-established private dental practice located close to Ramsey Marina and just a short walk from the town’s shops. Described as a “family dental health centre”, the practice aims to help patients of all ages enjoy lasting dental health.
The practice has five surgeries and provides a range of services, including general and cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, teeth whitening, dentures and dental hygiene.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Providing the highest standard of clinical support to our dentists and hygiene therapists.
- Performing high-quality dental nursing during all procedures in a safe and effective manner.
- Preparing equipment, materials, laboratory work and patients with efficiency and empathy.
- Checking stock and preparing orders.
- Carrying out audits.
- Preparing referrals.
- Delivering outstanding customer service.
- Undertaking ad hoc reception duties.
Academic or professional qualifications:
- GDC registered.
- Trainees with a minimum of six months’ experience will be considered.
- Excellent organisational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Pearl and Excel is desirable but not essential.
Work experience and skills:
- An ambitious, positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong focus on patient care.
- A willingness to undertake a variety of nursing responsibilities and extended duties.
- Ability to work as part of a busy and active team.
- Proactive approach.
- Confident using computers and able to multitask.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
