Job Purpose: Provide administrative support across Planning Appeals, Corporate Services and Information Governance within the Executive Office team.
Duties
- Support the administration of statutory planning appeals, departmental planning applications, and Area and Strategic Plan inquiries.
- Prepare planning appeal files and manage correspondence and telephone enquiries relating to appeals.
- Liaise with other departments, architects, agents and other stakeholders to progress appeals.
- Provide support to the Planning Appeals Administrator and Planning Appeals Inspectors.
- Deliver excellent customer service at the public counter, by telephone and via email.
- Support facilities management tasks including building security and meeting room arrangements.
- Assist with office supplies, correspondence, health and safety, complaints and gift registry processes.
- Provide routine administration including processing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Process purchases, invoices and purchase card activity as required.
- Support corporate improvement projects when needed.
- Assist with information governance tasks including data protection compliance, suspected data breaches, freedom of information requests and subject access requests.
