Karsons Pharmacy is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly community pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2 years' experience working in a community pharmacy who is passionate about delivering safe, accurate and efficient patient care. The role offers a varied workload, supporting the dispensary, assisting patients and customers, and occasionally undertaking pharmacy-related deliveries and collections.
Main Duties
- accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist
- provide excellent customer service
- assist with prescription queries
- maintain stock levels and inventory
- receive and process deliveries
- support the day-to-day operation of the dispensary
- carry out pharmacy deliveries or collections when required.
Essential Requirements:
- minimum 2 years' experience working in a community pharmacy dispensary,
- a recognised dispensing qualification (or equivalent)
- experience using pharmacy dispensing systems
- knowledge of NHS community pharmacy services
- excellent attention to detail
- strong customer service and communication skills
- possess basic to intermediate computer literacy
- ability to work efficiently in a busy team environment
- hold a full, valid driving licence
