Part-Qualified Accountant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Part Qualified Accountant, who is looking to build a rewarding career in accountancy within an established practice.  

You may be required to undertake reasonable additional or alternative duties subject to business requirements, duties include but are not limited to:  

• Collaborate within a team to manage a diverse client portfolio.
• Assist in preparing financial statements for small and medium sized businesses in line with FRS 102 Section 1A
• Prepare accounts for self-employed individuals
• Prepare Isle of Man Company and Personal Tax returns
• Handle enquiries from Tax Authorities professionally and promptly
• Review and challenge existing systems and procedures, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience

Qualifications Required

• Part qualified ACA/ACCA status
• 3 A Levels or equivalent, or 5 GCSEs at grade B or above, or equivalent

Experience and Knowledge

• Experience in accounts preparation from source records is essential
• Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships is essential
• Experience with owner-managed businesses is preferred but not essential
• Understanding of Isle of Man Tax legislation and systems is preferred but not essential
• Understanding of UK tax legislation and systems is preferred but not essential
• Experience with CCH and Quickbooks Online is preferred but not essential
