Job Purpose: Gain hands-on experience working within Tynwald while supporting parliamentary research, committee work and legislative services. This internship offers the opportunity to develop valuable research, communication and analytical skills while learning how the Isle of Man's parliament operates.  

Duties  
- Support Tynwald Committees by attending meetings and assisting with enquiries and investigations.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, briefing papers and reports.
- Conduct research and analysis on a wide range of policy and public interest topics.
- Respond to information requests from Members and Committees of Tynwald.
- Analyse written and verbal evidence and help draft recommendations.
- Assist with media releases, committee outputs and parliamentary publications.
- Help administer parliamentary sittings and official documents.
- Contribute to the production of Hansard (the Official Report of parliamentary proceedings).
- Maintain research resources, datasets and shared inboxes.
- Work with colleagues across Legislative Services and support wider parliamentary activities when required.
- Write a blog about your experience as a Parliamentary Intern.
