Braddan Parish Commissioners are currently recruiting for a Parish Maintenance Assistant/Leisure Assistant. The role has a dual function with work being carried out within the local community and at the Roundhouse.
General Maintenance duties in the community include:
- General cleaning and maintenance of the Parish Halls and flats at Mullen Doway.
- General playground maintenance
- Emptying litter bins and maintaining bus shelters
Duties undertaken at the Roundhouse will include:
- General housekeeping duties
- Health and safety duties
- Site security
Essential
- Applicants are required to be physically fit, be able to carry out manual handling operations and be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
- A full clean driving licence is essential as driving is required on a daily basis around the various sites.
- A successful DBS and Occupational Health check are required on condition of appointment
Desirable
- Isle of Man worker
- Applicants should possess good verbal/written communication skills and be able to provide an excellent level of customer service to the public.
