Lunchtime Assistant - Sulby Primary School - DOES-025592

Job Purpose: Supervise pupils during lunchtime at Sulby Primary School, helping them enjoy a safe, friendly and positive lunch break.  

Duties:  
- Supervise pupils in the dining room and playground.  
- Encourage good manners and help children enjoy their lunch.  
- Promote safe, creative play and positive behaviour.
- Deal with incidents and provide first aid when required.
- Work closely with teaching staff and report any concerns about pupils.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

Essential Skills:
- Good communication and people skills.
- A caring, kind and approachable manner.
- Ability to encourage play and activities with children.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Respect for confidentiality and pupils’ safety and welfare.
- No formal qualifications or previous experience are required.
- An enhanced police check with barring is required, paid for by the Isle of Man Government.
