Job Purpose: To supervise and support pupils during the lunchtime period, helping them stay safe, enjoy their break and build positive relationships in the dining hall and playground. You will play an important part in creating a fun, friendly and safe school environment where children can thrive.
Duties
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground
- Deal with minor incidents and provide first aid when needed
- Promote safe, creative and positive play
- Encourage good manners and positive behaviour
- Support pupils to eat their lunch and enjoy their break safely
- Act as a link between pupils and teaching staff
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a supportive team environment
- Follow safeguarding procedures and keep pupil information confidential
