Job Purpose: Support pupils during lunchtime by supervising them in the dining hall and playground, helping to create a safe, friendly and positive environment where children can enjoy their break times and develop good social skills.
Duties
- Supervise pupils during lunchtime in the dining room and playground
- Help children stay safe and encourage positive behaviour
- Deal with incidents and provide first aid when needed
- Encourage pupils to use good manners and respectful behaviour
- Support safe, creative and enjoyable play activities
- Act as a point of contact between pupils and teaching staff
- Encourage children to eat their lunch and enjoy their break safely
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues and pupils
- Maintain confidentiality regarding pupils and school matters
