Job Purpose: Support pupils during the lunchtime period by supervising meals and play activities, encouraging positive behaviour and helping create a safe, friendly and enjoyable environment where children can thrive.
Duties
- Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground during lunchtime.
- Encourage children to eat their lunch and enjoy their break safely.
- Promote safe, creative and positive play activities.
- Encourage good manners and positive behaviour.
- Provide basic first aid and deal with incidents when required.
- Act as a point of contact between pupils and teaching staff.
- Cooperate with teachers and other school staff to support pupils.
- Build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
- Help maintain a safe and supportive environment for all pupils.
