Lunch Time Assistant - Laxey Primary School - DOES-024089

Support pupils during lunchtime by supervising in the dining hall and playground, helping them stay safe, have fun, and enjoy their break while building positive relationships.  

Duties  
- Supervise pupils in the dining area and playground
- Help deal with incidents and provide basic first aid when needed
- Work closely with teaching staff and keep them informed
- Encourage good manners and positive behaviour
- Support safe, fun and creative play activities
- Help pupils eat their lunch and enjoy their break safely
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Act as a link between pupils and teachers

Essential Skills  
- Good communication and people skills
- Friendly, caring and approachable attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Confidence working with children
- Willingness to promote safe and positive play
- Reliable and responsible

Desirable Skills
- Experience working with children or in a school setting
- Basic first aid knowledge
- Understanding of safeguarding and child safety
