The Mannin Hotel is looking for a new Chef to join the team, we are looking for a hard working dedicated individual.
Whilst experience is preferred within the hospitality sector and hotels mostly, training will be given on the job. Evening work and weekend hours will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals for hotel restaurants, banquets, and room service
- Plan and develop menus according to seasonal ingredients and guest preferences
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Supervise and train kitchen staff such as cooks and kitchen assistants
- Ensure cleanliness and follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies when needed
- Control kitchen costs and reduce food waste
- Coordinate with hotel management for special events and catering services
