Working in a small Adult Mental Health & Complex needs service, the purpose of the role is to meet the nutritional needs of the individual service user.  
- To promote healthy eating and nutritional well-being. 
- To produce a wide variety of meals to promote choice. 
- To assist the support workers in ensuring the service users lead a comfortable and happy life. 
- To contribute to providing excellent standards of care. 
- To maintain health, safety and food safety in the kitchen. 
- Ensuring records are kept in line with policy. 
- Designing and implementing nutritious menus. 
- Overseeing stock replenishment and ordering of foods.   

Working as part of a small care team, all procedures of kitchen management are required. Day time hours, from 08:00 - 17:00. 5 days a week on a rolling rota basis alternating weekends days. 25 days a year Annual leave, with bank holidays worked being accrued additionally. Excellent training and e-learning opportunities.
