Three Sisters Farm

Three Sisters Farm is undergoing an exciting transformation, restoring a traditional Manx farm and documenting the journey through video, photography and social media.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media and Content Creator to help us tell that story. Think along the lines of Clarkson’s Farm: following the people, challenges, successes and day-to-day reality behind bringing an old farm back to life.

This could be an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate in social media, digital marketing, content creation, media production, videography or a related subject. Applications are welcomed from people already living on the Isle of Man and suitable graduates who would be willing to relocate from the UK.

The role:   You will work closely with the farm team, turning raw footage, photographs and everyday activity into interesting and engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Editing raw footage into engaging short-form videos, reels and social media posts
- Helping to develop the farm’s story, style and online personality
- Creating captions, selecting music and using appropriate hashtags
- Uploading and scheduling regular content across different platforms
- Identifying interesting stories and filming opportunities around the farm
- Following relevant trends and finding creative ways to adapt them
- Responding to comments and helping to build an online community
- Monitoring views, engagement and audience growth
- Developing a content calendar and planning future posts and campaigns

About you:  We are looking for someone who:
- Has a relevant degree or practical experience in social media, digital marketing, media, video production or content creation
- Has good video-editing skills and experience using software such as CapCut, InShot or Adobe Premiere
- Understands how content should be adapted for different social media platforms
- Is creative, organised and confident working independently
- Can recognise the stories and personalities that will interest an audience
- Is comfortable working in a rural farm environment
- Has strong written communication skills
- Is enthusiastic about helping to grow a new online brand
- Previous professional social media experience would be useful, but we are also interested in talented graduates who can demonstrate their ability through university projects, personal accounts, freelance work or a creative portfolio.

Relocation:  Applications may be considered from suitable UK-based graduates who are willing to relocate to the Isle of Man. Any appointment and potential relocation support will be subject to the employer and candidate meeting the relevant eligibility requirements.

What we offer:
- A salary of £25,000–£35,000, depending on skills and experience
- Creative freedom and the opportunity to shape the farm’s online identity
- A varied role with new stories and content to work with every day
- Direct involvement in an unusual and exciting long-term project
- Opportunities to develop your skills as the farm and its audience grow

How to apply:  Please send your CV, a short covering letter explaining your interest in the role, and examples of your work. These could include a portfolio, videos, university projects, personal social media accounts or links to content you have created.

Only candidates who already have, or are able to obtain, the appropriate permission to live and work on the Isle of Man can be considered.
