Front of House Team Member

We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join us at The Food Cellar.  

If you enjoy great food, good coffee and creating a warm welcome for customers, we’d love to hear from you.  

What you’ll be doing:
- Making and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks
- Greeting customers, taking orders and offering recommendations
- Providing friendly, attentive service and helping every customer have a great experience
- Keeping The Food Cellar clean, organised and running smoothly
- Handling cash and card payments accurately
- Working closely with the rest of our friendly team
- Helping with stock, including restocking and keeping an eye on supplies
- Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene

What we’re looking for:
- You must be 18 years of age or over
- Previous barista experience or experience in a similar customer-facing role
- A friendly, approachable attitude with great communication skills
- Someone who can juggle different tasks and stay calm when things get busy
- A genuine enthusiasm for good food, good coffee and good company
- Reliability, a positive attitude and a willingness to be part of the team

Hours:  We’re looking for someone to work approximately 20–30+ hours per week, to include weekend shifts and occasional evening work for events.
