Front of House Assistant

Padel Park Eatery is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant to join the team.  

This is a full-time, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a busy team. Everyone works together to keep the restaurant running smoothly, so you should be comfortable moving between customer service, food and drink service, cleaning, restocking and general restaurant duties throughout your shift.  

Main duties  

• Welcoming customers and taking orders
• Serving food and drinks
• Preparing coffees and other beverages
• Clearing and resetting tables
• Keeping the restaurant clean, tidy and welcoming
• Restocking supplies
• Helping with general restaurant duties
• Helping to open and close the restaurant
• We’re looking for someone who is:
• Friendly and confident with customers
• Punctual and reliable
• Positive and enthusiastic
• Willing to get stuck in and work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment

Previous café or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential. Barista experience would be an advantage, although training can be provided.

Hours:  35–40 hours per week, working on a rota.  The Eatery’s opening hours are 9am–6pm, Monday to Sunday. You must be available to work shifts within these hours.  Weekend availability is essential, with weekends worked on a rota.
