Job Purpose: Provide administrative support to the Isle of Man Constabulary’s Financial Crime Teams, helping investigators manage information and evidence relating to serious and complex financial crime and money laundering investigations. You will maintain accurate investigation records, handle sensitive information and support the team with evidence, documents and general administration.  

Duties  
- Input, update and maintain investigation records on police systems including HOLMES, CONNECT, Nuix and SharePoint.
- Create and maintain indexes for documents, statements, exhibits, intelligence and actions.
- Register, label, track and maintain accurate records of exhibits.
- Scan, check and upload evidential material.
- Research documents and exhibits to help identify relevant evidence and links between information.
- Link people, exhibits, locations, events and documents within investigation systems.
- Maintain document registers and disclosure schedules.
- Review files to ensure records are complete, accurate and auditable.
- Help investigators retrieve information from police systems.
- Prepare digital and physical evidence packs for investigators, supervisors and Counsel.
- Support large-scale document reviews and ensure information is correctly categorised and indexed.
- Transcribe interviews and witness statements accurately using specialist software.
- Deal professionally with telephone and email enquiries from the public, external partners and law enforcement agencies.
- Direct enquiries to the appropriate department and provide crime prevention advice where appropriate.
- Prepare and maintain accurate minutes of meetings.
- Manage and prioritise your workload, including urgent transcription requests.
- Order office equipment following Government procurement procedures and maintain equipment inventories.
- Help develop office procedures and support the smooth running of the team.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive law enforcement information.
- Undertake training and keep your knowledge and skills up to date.

Desirable Skills  
- GCSE English Language at Grade C/4 or above.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- Excellent typing skills and ability to accurately transcribe audio recordings.
- Previous experience working in an office or customer-facing role.
- Full and valid UK or Isle of Man driving licence.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
