Job Purpose: Provide high-quality financial and administrative support to Manx Care Social Work Teams, helping to manage financial processes, maintain accurate records and deliver an efficient service to colleagues and the people they support.
Duties
- Raise invoices for residential care and other services accurately and on time.
- Check financial ledgers and monitor benefit payment transfers.
- Process invoices and payments in line with financial regulations.
- Support debt collection activities for Adult Social Care Services.
- Balance debtor spreadsheets and maintain accurate financial records.
- Update provider information and cost changes within financial systems.
- Prepare correspondence, including financial collection letters and responses to enquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date electronic records and documentation.
- Assist different teams with administrative support when required.
- Manage workload independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
- Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Carry out other administrative and finance duties as directed by management.

Desirable Skills
- Five GCSEs at Grade C (4) or above, or equivalent.
- Relevant office administration experience or experience working with the public.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to deal confidently and diplomatically with people at all levels.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
