Equestrian Groom

We are looking for a professional and experienced Groom to work closely with the Yard Manager to help organise the daily running of the yard and care of the horses.

They will be expected to work both alone and as part of a team by using good leadership skills to set a high standard. As a Groom you will love horses and the role requires broad equestrian knowledge and practical ability.

Includes the management and handling of horses, equine health, anatomy, physiology, feeding, fitness, saddlery, shoeing, stable design, grassland management. A positive attitude and good interpersonal skills are key attributes for a groom.
