Job Purpose: Provide administrative support to the Drug & Alcohol Team, helping coordinate the Naloxone Programme and supporting nurse prescribing clinics. This is a 12-month limited term role.  

Duties:   
- Monitor and order Naloxone stock, prepare kits and keep accurate records.  
- Update spreadsheets and databases and produce programme reports.  
- Arrange training sessions, record attendance and prepare certificates.
- Respond to programme enquiries and update social media, posters and notices.
- Type and process clinic letters and support Nurse Prescribers with administration.
- Check and securely post prescriptions to pharmacies, hand-delivering them when needed.
- Help with referrals, appointment letters, invoices, scanning and reception cover.
- Handle telephone calls sensitively and protect confidential patient information.

Essential Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Awareness of GDPR, data protection principles and Freedom of Information requirements.
- Accurate, reliable and flexible, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Able to stay calm under pressure and communicate sensitively.
- Discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
- A proactive approach and commitment to providing an excellent service.
- Full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Satisfactory standard police check.

Desirable Skills:
- GCSE English Language at grade C or above, or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Experience of working in a small team.
- Isle of Man worker status.
