Vibe is a small, award-winning plant-based café and restaurant with a maximum of 30 seats. We are a close-knit team where every person makes a real difference.
We are looking for an experienced Front of House team member to join us immediately. Applicants must be aged 18 or over and have plenty of previous restaurant experience.
This is a daytime role working five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday. Normal hours are approximately 10.15am to 3–4pm, with a later finish of around 4.30pm on Sundays.
The role will include:
- Opening the café and preparing the restaurant for service, including stocking and setting up each station
- Preparing coffees, juices, bar drinks and cocktails
- Taking customer orders and answering the telephone
- Keeping the café spotless, tables ready and customers happy
- Washing up and helping with all aspects of front-of-house service
- Working alongside another team member during service
- Setting up and closing down independently
- Multitasking and working efficiently in a busy environment
You will need to:
- Be aged 18 or over
- Have plenty of experience in a similar restaurant role
- Be a trained and experienced barista who is confident using a coffee machine
- Work quickly while remaining calm during busy periods
- Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work
- Be comfortable working independently when setting up and closing
- Bring a positive, kind and team-focused attitude
