Job Purpose: To support the Data Assurance Team within the Companies Registry by helping check and improve the accuracy of company and beneficial ownership information, supporting risk assessments, investigations and enforcement work to help prevent money laundering and financial crime.  

Duties  
- Work within one of three areas on a six-month rota: Integration & Monitoring, Investigations & Obliged Entities, or Enforcement.
- Assist with collecting and reviewing due diligence information for new companies.
- Carry out company risk assessments and update records where needed.
- Monitor companies on a risk basis and request further information where there are discrepancies.
- Escalate higher risk findings and support preparation for Risk Committee meetings.
- Support investigations to check that company information is accurate and compliant with legislation.
- Help identify possible breaches and prepare information for enforcement action where required.
- Assist in preparing reports for senior officers and external authorities.
- Support strike off actions and related administrative processes.
- Compile data and statistics for internal reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service by phone, email and at the public counter.
- Take minutes at meetings when required.
- Take responsibility for your own learning, training and development.
- Follow health, safety and integrity standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

Desirable Skills
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C (4) or above including English (or equivalent).
- Experience in a customer service environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Power BI.
- Experience working within a legislative or regulatory framework.
- Knowledge of AML/CFT requirements.
- Creative and proactive approach to problem solving.
- Isle of Man worker status.
