Community Care Assistant

Platinum Care are looking for a kind and compassionate Community Care Workers to support people in their own homes across Douglas, Onchan and the south of the Island.   

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will help service users maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.  

The role will include:   

• Providing personal care and support, including washing, dressing and personal hygiene
• Preparing meals and drinks
• Supporting with medication
• Assisting with mobility and transfers where required
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Taking service users into the community for social activities
• Completing accurate care records
• Reporting any changes and working with families and other professionals
• Helping with household tasks where required

Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training, induction and ongoing support will be provided.
