After many wonderful years with us, one of our long-standing team members is moving on to begin an exciting new chapter. She’s been a huge part of Team Whistlestop, and her shoes won’t be easy to fill.  

So… we’re looking for someone rather special to join our slightly mad, very fast-paced Whistlestop world.  

We’re recruiting a part-time team member (minimum 3 days per week) on a permanent basis.

The role includes weekday shifts and weekend work, so it isn’t suitable for students seeking weekend or holiday-only hours.

What we’re looking for: 

Someone who is:
- Friendly and a confident communicator
- Genuinely reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and happy to get stuck in
- Able to use initiative
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Willing to turn their hand to every aspect of café life

You’ll be making coffee, preparing items from our menu, serving customers, running the till, tidying, cleaning — and working as part of a small, supportive team that pulls together when it’s busy.

Previous café or hospitality experience is an advantage, but attitude, commitment and reliability matter most.
