Job Purpose: Help deliver a safe, enjoyable and reliable service on the Manx Electric Railway by assisting passengers, selling tickets and supporting the day-to-day operation of the trams. Work closely with the Motorman and Line Controller to ensure passengers have a positive travel experience.
Duties
- Act as a Conductor on trams operating between Douglas and Ramsey.
- Assist with the safe operation of services alongside the Motorman and Line Controller.
- Ensure passengers board, travel and leave the tram safely.
- Sell tickets using an electronic ticket machine.
- Answer passenger enquiries and provide helpful information.
- Prepare and check trams before they enter service each day.
- Complete journey reports and other required documentation.
- Clean and prepare trams before service.
- Carry out light maintenance duties when required.
- Attend personal track safety training.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.

Desirable Skills
- Experience of cash handling.
- Knowledge of the Isle of Man tourism and hospitality industry.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
