CAFE ASSISTANT Cosy NOA | Cosy Nook, Port Erin - Saturday role  

We’re looking for a Cafe Assistant to join our tiny but mighty team at Cosy NOA. Perched right by the beach at Cosy Nook in Port Erin, we might be small, but we’re a proper little community hub.

We have amazing regulars, sandy feet coming through the door, great coffee, NOA bakes and one of the best views on the Island. Now we need another brilliant human to join us on Saturdays.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
A bit of everything, basically, you’ll be:
- taking orders,
- making and serving drinks,
- helping get food out,
- warming things up and keeping an eye on those almond croissants that definitely need a few more minutes in the oven.

You’ll chat to our regulars, welcome people who’ve never visited before and help make Cosy feel like Cosy.

It can get busy, so you’ll need to be a natural multitasker who can keep smiling when there are coffees to make, food to serve, tables to clear and three people asking you something at once.

You’ll also help keep our little snug clean, tidy and ready for whoever walks through the door next.

WHO WE’RE AFTER
Experience is great, but attitude matters more. Our team can teach you everything you need to know. We’re looking for someone who:
- is naturally friendly and loves chatting to people.
- can juggle a few things at once without losing their head.
- is reliable and understands how important that is in a tiny team.
- is happy to jump between taking orders, serving food, cleaning and whatever else needs doing.
- cares about great food and coffee.
- takes pride in keeping our space looking lovely.
- genuinely cares about giving people a great experience.
- gets what NOA is about and wants to be part of it.

THE TEAM  We’re a super small team, which means everyone matters. The Cosy crew are reliable, supportive and brilliant at looking out for each other. You won’t be expected to walk in knowing everything. We’ll train you, show you the ropes and help you get confident with all the different parts of the job. What we do need from you is energy, reliability and a willingness to get stuck in.
