Job Purpose: Support the Office of Human Resources (OHR) by providing administrative and business support to ensure corporate functions run efficiently and effectively. You will work across different HR teams, helping with projects, meetings, communications, records, customer enquiries and business operations.
Duties
- Provide administrative support to the OHR senior team and corporate functions.
- Process and record invoices in line with financial regulations.
- Organise staff briefings, training sessions and meetings.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes and track actions from meetings.
- Maintain operational procedures, records and administrative systems.
- Act as a first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries.
- Manage and respond to tickets and requests received through internal systems.
- Support building management issues and liaise with relevant departments regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Assist with governance and corporate administration, including managing access cards and equipment records.
- Produce and distribute reports from HR systems.
- Support HR projects by monitoring actions, updating progress and helping meet deadlines.
- Assist with internal communications, including maintaining and creating content.
- Carry out research on HR-related topics and gather information when required.
- Support business continuity and emergency planning activities.
- Maintain office supplies and assist with general office management.
- Suggest and support improvements to processes, including the use of Microsoft Copilot and AI tools.
- Undertake other administrative duties as required.

Desirable Skills
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C (4) or above, including English Language, or equivalent qualifications.
- Knowledge of HR processes within a large organisation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work across different locations.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
