Job Purpose: Provide confidential and professional administrative support to the Professional Standards team within the Isle of Man Constabulary. You will help manage complaints, support investigations, maintain secure records, respond to enquiries, and assist with day-to-day office administration.  

Duties  
- Record and manage complaints accurately on internal systems.
- Secure and organise important evidence such as CCTV, documents, and digital files.
- Support responses to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
- Prepare, maintain, and audit case files and Professional Standards records.
- Create and update forms, letters, templates, and notices.
- Support vetting checks, integrity reviews, and audit processes.
- Maintain secure storage and accurate logging of confidential information.
- Manage shared inboxes and respond to routine enquiries.
- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up actions.
- Process and analyse data using Microsoft Office applications.
- Carry out general office duties including scanning, printing, filing, and archiving.
- Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection policies at all times.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Able to work well in a busy, high-pressure environment.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Able to work accurately with strong attention to detail.
- Organised and able to manage time effectively.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Satisfactory Police Vetting Check required.

Desirable Skills
- Previous administrative experience.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Understanding of Data Protection and GDPR.
- GCSE English Language (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
