Job Purpose: Provide accurate and timely financial and administrative support to the Organisational Development team within the Isle of Man Constabulary, helping with finance processes, recruitment admin, training coordination and project support.  

Duties  
- Check and process invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial rules  
- Raise and manage purchase orders and track payments
- Keep financial records organised, up to date and audit-ready
- Support monitoring of income and spending
- Maintain spreadsheets, trackers and financial documents
- Report any financial issues or irregularities
- Work with Treasury and Finance Shared Services
- Support recruitment admin and onboarding processes
- Help organise training sessions and keep attendance records
- Maintain databases, logs and shared team records
- Support projects and team initiatives
- Manage emails, enquiries and shared inboxes
- Prepare documents, reports and correspondence
- Organise meetings, take notes and follow up actions
- Carry out general office tasks (printing, scanning, filing)
- Handle data carefully and follow confidentiality and data protection rules

Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication and written skills
- Professional, reliable and able to handle confidential information
- Methodical and able to analyse information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Recruitment vetting clearance required

Desirable Skills
- Previous financial or administrative experience
- Experience using Excel and financial systems
- Experience keeping accurate records
- Understanding of financial regulations (or willingness to learn)
- Public sector experience
- Full driving licence
- Isle of Man Worker status
