Job Purpose:  Provide efficient administrative support to the Radiology Administration Team, helping to manage patient appointments, maintain accurate records and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department while delivering excellent customer service.  

Duties  
- Answer telephone and face-to-face enquiries from patients, staff and visitors.
- Book, amend and manage patient appointments using the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Ensure appointment slots are used efficiently and accurately.
- Provide administrative support across the Radiology Team.
- Cover reception duties when required.
- Scan and upload documents to electronic patient records.
- Carry out quality checks on patient information and records.
- Order stock and process purchase orders and invoices in line with financial procedures.
- Book meeting rooms and take notes at operational meetings.
- Log Estates faults and maintenance requests.
- Assist with gathering information and reports for the department.
- Update and maintain departmental procedures and administrative documents.
- Provide administrative support to other Integrated Diagnostics and Cancer Services teams during periods of absence or project work.

Essential Skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn new computer systems quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptable, resilient and able to manage conflicting priorities.
- Professional approach with the ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to providing a high-quality service.
- Willingness to embrace new challenges and changing priorities.
- Satisfactory Police Check.

Desirable Skills
- Five GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above), including English Language.
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Experience working with health-related information.
- Isle of Man Worker status.

This is a limited term contract (LTC) - Maternity Cover.
