Job Purpose: Provide efficient and organised admin support to the Older People & Community Team, helping services run smoothly and supporting safeguarding work.  

Duties  
- Support the team with day-to-day admin tasks
- Organise meetings (book rooms, send invites, take notes, write minutes)
- Process invoices and update financial and provider information
- Answer phone calls, give basic info, and pass on messages quickly
- Prepare and send emails, letters, and other documents
- Keep records accurate and up to date using systems like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Rio
- Update waiting lists and team trackers
- Check and record availability of care home spaces
- Help other admin staff and teams when needed
- Support events (e.g. creating PowerPoint presentations)
- Handle sensitive information confidentially at all times
- Manage your own workload and meet deadlines

Essential Skills
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Able to organise work, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable dealing with different people professionally
- Able to multitask and handle a busy workload
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work as part of a team
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive information
- Calm and balanced approach when dealing with sensitive situations

Desirable Skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including English
- Experience in an office or working with the public
