Job Purpose: Support Treasury’s Enterprise Financial Systems team with the introduction of a new finance system. You will provide administrative and operational support throughout the project, including preparing records and documents, checking data, testing the new system and helping users with basic queries.
Duties
- Provide administrative support during the introduction and rollout of new finance systems.
- Help set up and update user accounts and access records under supervision.
- Prepare and update project documents, process notes, user guides and training materials.
- Assist with checking, cleaning and validating data before it is moved to the new system.
- Follow test scripts to help test the new finance system and record the results.
- Log system problems, queries and support requests and track their progress.
- Monitor project actions and follow up outstanding tasks with team members.
- Help compare and reconcile information between the old and new systems.
- Provide basic first-line support for straightforward user queries.
- Direct more complex system queries to the appropriate person.
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to help co-ordinate project activities.
- Support parallel testing by capturing and comparing information from both systems.
- Assist with testing financial transactions by entering data and recording results.
- Organise meetings and maintain project records.
- Attend team and operational meetings and provide administrative support when required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and provide cover when required.
- Keep your knowledge of systems and processes up to date through training and development.
- Suggest ideas that could improve administrative processes.
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with Treasury information.
