We’re recruiting on behalf of a dynamic, client-focused IT services provider in Douglas, looking for an experienced 1st Line Helpdesk Technician to join their growing support team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in a 1st line role who is ready to take on more responsibility, learn new systems, and carve out a long-term path toward 2nd line or infrastructure support.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, and remote tools
Logging, tracking, and resolving tickets within agreed SLAs
Troubleshooting desktop, hardware, printer, and basic network issues
Supporting Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory)
Escalating more complex issues to 2nd/3rd line engineers when required
Keeping documentation and knowledge bases up to date
✅ What You’ll Need:
1–2 years of experience in a 1st line or technical support role
Good working knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and basic networking principles
Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software issues independently
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
Eagerness to learn and progress into more technical roles
Any certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL) are a big plus
