Automotive Parts Advisor
Automotive parts advisors supply spare parts to individuals, dealerships and garages, helping customers find the right parts for their vehicles.
Day-to-day tasks
In this role you could:
- Advise customers on suitable vehicle parts
- Take orders face to face, by phone or by email
- Check stock levels
- Retrieve parts from storage or order from suppliers
- Prepare orders for delivery or collection
- Process payments, invoices and receipts
- Keep shelves and window displays tidy
- Order supplies, store deliveries and update stock records
