Craft Attendant
Day-to-day tasks
- Prepare, clean and make available tools, equipment and materials as required by the Craftsperson
- Drive any vehicle up to 3,500kg, maintain and clean them – including carrying out roadworthiness checks and reporting defects
- Transport personnel, materials, appliances and plant, and assist in preparation for use
- Load and unload the vehicle of tools and equipment
- Prepare sites ready for work and tidy/clear sites when work completed
- Prepare electrical equipment for Craftsperson to undertake their activities
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment and PPE in accordance with training and instruction provided
- Maintain vehicle strategic stock levels and maintain a good standard of housekeeping of work areas
Skills and knowledge
- Basic electrical experience
- Basic construction experience
- Awareness of and compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation and Industry standards
- Team player / collaborative working and knowledge sharing
- Be organised and reliable
- Be familiar with working with Risk Assessments
- Experience of ground works
- In good physical health and confident working safely in confined spaces
