Customer Support (Usually Bilingual)

Customer support in online gaming involves assisting players with inquiries, resolving issues and providing a positive experience, ensuring that gamers enjoy a smooth and enjoyable time on the platform.

Day-to-day Tasks

In this role you could:

  • answer customers questions with a professional and friendly service via live chat, telephone and email
  • fix all customer queries and questions in a timely manner
  • talk to other departments within the company to solve customer queries
  • handle complaints or pass them to a supervisor
  • add customer information onto a computer
  • remain up to date with industry rules and procedures

Industry Qualifications

To work in online gaming, you need to be at least 18 years old, and, most commonly, on the Isle of Man, they recruit Bilingual Customer Support Agents. This can often be a stepping stone into the online gaming industry and can lead to a career in any number of departments.
