Job Purpose: Support pupils during the lunchtime period by helping to create a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment in the dining hall and playground. Encourage good behaviour, healthy eating, and positive play while working closely with teaching staff and supporting pupils' wellbeing.
Duties
- Supervise pupils during lunch breaks in the dining hall and playground.
- Encourage pupils to eat their lunch and enjoy their break safely.
- Promote safe, creative, and positive play activities.
- Encourage good manners and positive behaviour.
- Provide basic first aid when required.
- Act as a point of contact between pupils and teaching staff.
- Help resolve incidents and report concerns to teaching staff.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Support the school's approach to helping children be healthy, safe, and successful.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding pupils and school matters.
- Contribute to a friendly, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
