Job Purpose: To supervise and support pupils during the lunchtime period, both in the dining area and playground, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment. Working closely with teaching staff, you’ll encourage good behaviour, positive play and social skills, helping children stay healthy, safe and happy.
Duties
- Supervise pupils in the dining room and playground during lunchtime
- Promote safe, fun and positive play activities
- Encourage good manners and respectful behaviour
- Deal with minor incidents and provide first aid when required
- Report any concerns or issues to teaching staff
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
- Uphold confidentiality and child welfare standards
Essential Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to promote play and inclusion with children

- Honest and professional attitude
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with children or in a school environment
