Job Purpose: Support the Registered Practitioner and multi-professional team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, basic clinical procedures, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities (hygiene, mobility, nutrition).
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, recording observations, and supporting wound care.
- Support emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Maintain accurate records and follow hospital policies.
- Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills and Requirements
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level II in Health and Social Care (or willingness to achieve).
Skills:
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic IT skills.
- Understanding of confidentiality.
Attributes:
- Friendly and approachable.
- Flexible and proactive.
- Adheres to policies and guidelines.
Other: Satisfactory police check and adherence to health and safety standards.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Prior experience in acute medical care.
- Familiarity with clinical governance principles
