We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor / Business Development Centre Operative at Van Mossel Jacksons. This is a fast-paced, phone-focused role where you’ll play a key part in delivering excellent service to our customers.
📞 About the Role: This role is predominantly phone-based and ideal for someone who is confident on the phone and thrives in a busy customer service or call centre environment. You'll handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, supporting customers with service bookings and general enquiries.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls from customers to arrange service bookings.
- Make outbound calls to follow up and secure additional bookings.
- Respond to customer enquiries via email and live web chat.
- Update and maintain accurate customer records in the database.
- Provide clear and helpful information about our products and services.
- Route calls to relevant departments and follow up as needed.
- Recognise and escalate urgent or priority issues promptly.
- Identify and report customer complaints appropriately.
🎓 Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant applications.
- Previous call centre or phone-based customer service experience is beneficial, but not essential – full training will be provided.
- Excellent spoken communication with a confident, clear telephone manner.
- Strong data entry and admin skills.
- Comfortable managing multiple systems and tasks at once.

🕒 Working Hours & Benefits:
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
- Flexibility may be required depending on business needs.
