Job Purpose: Provide high-quality financial administration support to Government Departments, Boards and Offices by processing financial transactions accurately, maintaining records and delivering excellent customer service through the Finance Shared Services team.  

Duties  
- Raise and process debtor invoices accurately and on time.
- Process creditor invoices in line with financial regulations.
- Receive, reconcile and bank payments, ensuring records are accurate.
- Monitor outstanding debts and issue statements and payment reminders.
- Liaise with departments regarding overdue accounts, credit balances and refunds.
- Create and maintain customer and supplier accounts within the financial system.
- Process journals, reconciliations and other financial transactions.
- Respond to telephone and email enquiries from customers, suppliers and Government departments.
- Maintain shared inboxes and ensure enquiries are dealt with promptly.
- Process banking transactions and assist with cash handling duties on a rota basis.
- Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring confidentiality of information.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying better ways of working.
- Assist other Finance Shared Services teams as required to meet business needs.

- Experience working in a professional office environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Experience using financial systems.
- Knowledge of office equipment and administrative procedures.
- Ability to identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Isle of Man Worker status.
